Sustainability in Food, Food Labeling, “Organic” and “Natural” – Consumer Reports

I listened to a great discussion on Heritage Radio Network recently on how Consumers Reports (actually the Consumers Union in the US) advocates for better food safety and sustainability – most recently evidenced by their report on testing and finding arsenic in rice.  Mitchell Davis speaks to Urvashi Rangan, the Executive Director of Consumer Reports’ Food Safety and Sustainability Center on many other issues such as food labeling, use of the words ‘natural’ and ‘organic’, and many other things.
